Naruto Vs Gaara The Animation

Many of us, myself included, loved Ultimate Ninja Storm 1, so imagine the excitement when I learned there is another one coming out! ^_^ Lets get right into it! In Naruto Shippuden - Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, there is basically three major elements to this game. Players will be able to select over 40 playable characters and it will be playable worldwide online. Naruto Shippuden - Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, is a battle game with action and adventure capabilities. In terms of the Narrative, it will begin at the beginning of the Shippudden arc. It's actually going to incorporate pieces that are not included in the Shippuden anime series yet. The game will be filled with a lot of drama. From the Shippuden series, it will introduce many different types of characters. Some of the characters will pass away during the gameplay, so it will get dramatic.

At the end of the first story arc information is revealed that sends Naruto and Sakura off on another mission almost immediately. Kakashi is in the infirmary after the mission (again), so Lady Tsunade assigns a new leader for the mission and reluctantly a replacement for sasuke chosen by the village elders.

Thus we are introduced to Sai and Captain Yamato. Yamato being an ANBU member taking Kakashi's place and Sai being an aggravating, and emotionless pain in the butt. He is on a secret mission, and manages to get on the bad side of both Sakura and Naruto right away. Part of Yamato's orders are to keep an eye on Sai.

To make up for the leap right back into another mission, there are some hijenks leading up the start of the action. Most of the lead up are reveals on Yamoto and Sai. They arrive at their destination and Orochimaru is there.

What follows is a flat out battle between Naruto and Orochimaru with Naruto completely giving himself over to the Nine-Tailed Fox demon. The carnage that ensues is truly epic in proportion, and even Sakura gets hurt in the cross fire. This leads to Naruto realizing he can't keep relying on the Fox demon for power, or someone he cares about could die.

More intrigue with Sai occurs, and a brief fight with Sasuke also goes down. Naruto (as expected) is beaten like a red headed step-child, and after the villains take off, he realizes how far he has to go to catch up to Sasuke. The Arc ends with Naruto working his friendship magic on Sai, who joins the team for real.

I will give this story Arc the Following ratings:

Story Development: A -With important additions to the cast and a number of revaluations, the bigger picture becomes more focused.

Action: A++ -The battle between Orochimaru and Naruto is frightening. Naruto is separated from shows like DBZ, by the more realistic power levels of their "super powers". The nature based techniques give individuals strong abilities, but ones that can be countered. With Naruto unleashing the Demon Fox, we see what "superhuman" means in the world of Naruto. Orochimaru comes close to being killed, and for any fan of the series that should tell you something right there.

Arc Story: b+ -A good balance is maintained between action and character/story development. They don't stretch things out too badly in this story arc, one of the things the show is notoriously bad about.

The story is now coming to a point where you are made to wonder who will take charge of the Akatsuki. It is of course going to be one of two, either Nagato with his controlled bodies of Pein or Madara so really its a battle between the best Sharingan user and the best Rinnengan user. So, which is more powerful, Rinnengan or Sharingan?

We only know a little about the Rinnengan so we assume it only has one state and in that state its said to be the most superior of the three Ocular Kekkai Genkai. We do know that apparently the first user of the Rinnengan, the Sage of Six Paths is said to have founded the ninja world and know all ninjutsu. Also, something probably not worth mentioning is that he apparently created the moon with the technique Chibaku Tensei. Along with Chibaku Tensei, it is thought that BanshM Ten'in and Shinra Tensei are among the techniques that come with possesion of the Rinnengan, techniques which basically grant the user to control gravity and push/pull objects from their own centre.

The Sharingan on the other hand has three main states, normal Sharingan which gives the ability to read movements, copy jutsu and cast basic genjutsu.

Then there is the Mangekyo Sharingan, acquired by killing somebody close to you. Abilities depend on the user but so far we've seen the Mangekyo giving abilities such as powerful genjutsu and space/time distortion. Examples are Itachi's Tsukuyomi which casts the victim under genjutsu and enables the user to control time along with everything in the created world and Kakashi's only know Mangekyo technique which gives him the ability to distort space and transport objects to other dimensions. Black flames called the Amaterasu that burn until it consumes the target is another technique used by Itachi. The downside to the Mangekyo is that the user eventually ends up blind if they overuse it which brings us on to the next Sharingan level, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

The EMS is aquired when an Uchiha with Mangekyo recieves another Uchiha (who also has Mangekyo) members eyes, this merges the two patterns of these Mangekyo to make one and gives the user 'Eternal Light' meaning the user will not become blind if he uses the Mangekyo's abilities a lot. We are told that with the EMS comes many new Mangekyo jutsu so we can only imagine what other abilities Madara has since we've already seen him make any jutsu pass through his body.
